Short Long Stories

The exhibition “short long stories” approaches the unique tradition of storytelling around small everyday objects retained in Gyumri. Researching the city and its material culture the artists Gohar Martirosyan (AM) and Ana Likar (SI) are looking for the ways to unlearn de-valuing things and to develop emotional and creative position towards them. At the same time they come with their own stories and interweave them into the show. Without intention to unlock the mystery of things the artists stay focused on how storytelling influence the environment and organize the experience of collective fantasy within it.
