The art of the talented artist Eranuhi Aslamazyan, who has left bright trace in the 20th century Armenian fine art, is full of high taste, organized with restrained, gentle colour transitions, rich with vital-philosophical layers where she has tried to reveal even the shadows of the layers. Eranuhi Aslamazyan with her art has paid great attention to the human emotional state, attached importance to the work. Her motives are as if constantly repeated, but every time pursued new creative problems and themes that suggest new solutions, the aim of which are not to make the audience to leap to the conclusion, but let them think.
The national artist of the USSR Eranuhi Aslamazyan was born on the 15th of April 1910 in Bash-Shirak village of Kars region. She lived in Leninakan until 1927-1928 and then long years in Moscow. On the formation of the drawing talent influenced Alexandrapol Painting Studio (pedagogues Yul.Varjbickaya, Yel.Patkanyan), Yerevan Artistic-Production Collage (teachers S.Arakelyan, S.Aghajanyan), Moscow VKhutemas (teachers S.Drevin, M.Larionova, B.Mukhina, K.Petrov-Vodkin), Leningrad Academy of Fine Arts (A.Osmyorkin, A.Savinov).
E.Aslamazyan died in 1988, on the 4 th of February and is buried in Moscow.
The works of E.Aslamazyan are conserved in numerous museums: London, Sofia, Berlin, Leningrad, Venice, Tokyo, Delhi and etc..
